Behold The Ocean

'If something doesn’t work in the middle of the fjord, you can’t go to a hardware store and pick things up. You are there, and you have to make it work. So, it needs a lot of preparation, and additionally, the instrumentation is expensive. All these equipment pieces are actually very costly. And then you have the human factor. You need a good team of people, trained people who will deliver in these harsh conditions. It’s a shame because we do these projects, then we form human resources that are actually good at doing this work, and then we just run out of budget once everything is assembled, then we get to point zero again. So, having long-term approaches would definitely increase the sustainability of our work. So that even if we didn’t get data in one deployment, we knew that we could keep working as a team.'

'Si algo no funciona en medio del fiordo, no puedes ir a una ferretería a recoger las cosas. Estás allí y tienes que hacer que funcione. Por lo tanto, se necesita mucha preparación y, además, la instrumentación es cara. Todos estos equipos son realmente muy costosos. Y luego está el factor humano.
